Overview

The European Cyber Security Salon is one of the cybersecurity activities under the European Union’s annual campaign – The European Cybersecurity Month (ECSM), which is the dedicated to promoting cybersecurity among EU citizens and organisations. This second session in the Cyber Security Salons regional series will focus on “Strengthening Trust in Digital Tech”, analysing approaches to cybersecurity in the European region, and drawing on experience from regulators, industry, and cybersecurity experts. It will look at the role and responsibilities of the individual, private organisations, governments and international bodies. The discussions will culminate in a mapping of regional cyber security approaches, highlighting the need to develop closer global cooperation on cyber security.

 

Key questions to be addressed will include:

Participants will come from national ministries, regulators, telecommunication operators, universities, telecommunication equipment manufacturers, research and design institutes, software developers and other interested stakeholders. Alongside the panel, the audience will have the opportunity to pose their questions and comments.
